• How long before my wedding should I start the fittings?

  We recommend shopping for your wedding dress soon after you choose your wedding date and venue. Most gowns take between four to six months to arrive from the date you order the dress. Therefore, to give yourself a stress-free experience and to avoid rush fees, it's great to start shopping nine months before your wedding.

• Do you have options in my budget?

  We offer an incredible and high-quality selection of gowns with a price range starting at 8000 AED. When we meet for your first appointment, our bridal stylist will help you choose gowns in a price range that you're comfortable with. We never push you to spend more than you want, and we treat every bride with the same pampering service regardless of how much she wants to spend. We require a 75% down payment at the time of your order, and the balance is due once the dress is ready. We recommend establishing your budget before you come to Amour Bridal.

• How long is my appointment?

  Appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes. That is usually the ideal amount of time to try on several gowns, narrow down your selection, and choose your wedding dress without feeling rushed. Of course, if you feel you need more time, we're always happy to schedule a return visit!

• Do you charge fees for the appointment?

  No, we don’t charge appointment fees.

• What sizes are your bridal gown samples?

  Our samples range from size 40 to size 42. If the sample gown is too small or too large, we clip the dress to fit your body. Please keep in mind that bridal sizes are different from everyday clothing. Typically, bridal gowns run two sizes larger than your average dress size. We’ll help you envision how the dress will look on you, even if it’s not an exact fit. Bridal sizing can be confusing, so your consultant will help you even if you don’t happen to be a perfect sample size.

• Is there a cancellation policy?

  No, however, we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours prior notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your fitting. Since we are appointment-only, we thank you in advance for your cooperation as we take in a very limited amount of brides a day.

• How many people can I bring to my appointment?

  We are happy to accommodate your bride tribe, please let us know how many people will be attending your appointment. As much as we love the idea of a bridal party, we believe that your fitting should be as intimate as possible. We want the focus to stay on you and what style and feeling YOU want to exude on your wedding day. We’ve found that sometimes too many opinions end up overwhelming the bride’s decision, and we don’t wish stressful shopping upon any of our brides. A great way to incorporate additional friends and family is to invite them to your final fitting appointment when your gown arrives.

• Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

  Aside from your shining self, we invite you to bring any undergarments (preferably nude-coloured) or shoes that you’re considering wearing on your wedding day, if applicable. Underwear is required to try on wedding dresses.

• Do you offer/include alterations?

  After you receive your dress, if you need any additional alteration, depending on the severity of your alteration needs, costs may vary. All basic adjustments will be free. For any major customizations, costs can start from 1000 AED to 2000 AED on an average.

• Can I customize my wedding dress? For example: remove sleeves, add longer train?

  Depending on the designer, customizations are available for an additional fee.

• What is a special order dress?

  All dresses sold by Amour Bridal are special-order. A special-order dress is made specifically for you by a designer based on the measurements we take from you. The designer then uses the pattern that is closest to your measurements to create your dress. Then, during the alteration process, we will fit it to your body perfectly.
